What? You’ve never been to a House Concert? Well, are you in for a treat!
House Concerts are small, intimate musical gatherings of friends that take place in private homes. The audience is usually made up of 30-40 music lovers who want to experience the pure enjoyment of a live show in a quiet venue.
The performers range from solo acts to full bands, and musical styles vary widely, covering folk, country, rock, and pop.
We ask that you arrive to the venue with plenty of time to get settled in, have a drink, and mingle. Our doors open at 7pm and shows start right on time at 8pm.
Often, House Concerts are potluck affairs, so while not mandatory, we encourage you to bring along a tasty snack to share with the group.
Additionally, we’ll be announcing more in the near future about some great charity partnerships we’re working on. So your attendance at an Ottawa Tonite House Concert is not only good for your music soul, but for the heart of the community too!
We are a BYOB operation, and while we want you to enjoy your time at the show, we strongly encourage responsible consumption. So, if you’re drinking, please ensure you have a safe way to get home. If we feel you are unable to drive, we will call you a cab or arrange a safe alternative.
We wouldn’t be able to do this without the support and encouragement of our House Concert mentors, Bob LeDrew and Cathy Bennett of BobCat House Concerts. In addition to providing us with extra chairs and some lighting equipment, Bob and Cathy are strong supporters of the House Concert community and inspired us to start our own House Concert series. So, please, go to their shows too!

See you at the show!
